A heavyweight bout between Matt Mitrione and Tim Hague is in the works for the UFC's yet-to-be-announced card on Jan. 22, which will air on Spike TV from Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas.
Mitrione (3-0, 3-0 UFC) has won all three of his UFC bouts. The former NFL player most recently earned a unanimous decision victory over Joey Beltran at UFC 119.
Hague (12-4, 1-3 UFC) is making his return to the Octagon after back-to-back first-round knockouts for the Aggression MMA promotion. The Canadian product has twice been released by the UFC.
