Darren Elkins vs. Edson Barboza in the works for UFC 122

A lightweight match between Darren Elkins and undefeated Brazilian Edson Barboza is in the works for UFC 122.

Elkins (11-2, 1-1 UFC) won his UFC debut by TKO when opponent Duane Ludwig suffered a serious ankle injury, then was submitted in just 41 seconds by Charles Oliveira in his most recent bout.

Barboza (6-0, 0-0 UFC) is coming off of a TKO win against Marcelo Guidici that earned him the Ring of Combat lightweight title. A Muay Thai black belt, Barboza has finished all six of his professional bouts, five in the first round and five by KO or TKO.

Nick Osipczak vs. Duane Ludwig in the works for UFC 122

A welterweight bout between Nick Osipczak and Duane Ludwig is in the works for UFC 122 in Germany in what could prove to be a must-win for both fighters.

Osipczak (5-2, 2-2 UFC) came off of a semi-finals performance on "The Ultimate Fighter: United States vs. United Kingdom" with back-to-back wins over Frank Lester and Matt Riddle. Since then, though, Osipczak has lost back-to-back contests to Rick Story and Greg Soto.

Ludwig (19-11, 2-2 UFC) is also coming off of back-to-back losses. He will look to rebound from a gruesome ankle injury suffered in his most recent loss to Darren Elkins. Ludwig is 1-3 in his last four fights.

Dennis Siver vs. Andre Winner in the works for UFC 122

A lightweight bout between Dennis Siver and Andre Winner is in the works for UFC 122 in Germany.

Siver (16-7, 5-4 UFC) is coming off of a decision win against Spencer Fisher at the Ultimate Fighter 11 Finale, and is 3-1 in his last four UFC fights.

Winner (11-4-1, 2-2 UFC) could be fighting for his UFC life after dropping a decision to Nik Lentz at UFC 118. The Brit has gone 2-1 since losing to Ross Pearson in the finals of the Ultimate Fighter 9.

Nik Lentz vs. Tyson Griffin set for UFC 123

A lightweight bout between Nik Lentz and Tyson Griffin has been confirmed for UFC 123.

Lentz (19-3-2, 3-0-1 UFC) will look to remain unbeaten in the Octagon, and is coming off of a unanimous decision victory over Andre Winner at UFC 118.

Griffin (14-4, 7-4 UFC) has hit a rough streak, going 1-2 in his last three fights. He will try to avoid losing three straight for the first time in his career.
